Kitchen organization: HOW TO COOK EVERYTHING YOU EAT FROM SCRATCH

Learning to manage our time is the most important thing we can do for ourselves in the modern world.

The way things currently are designed is that we go to work to then pay too much money for food that is nutritionless and in the long run, we are paying a price that we can’t really see.

Unfortunately, we don’t make our health a priority and more often than not, we wait until we become ill to do something about this. This is what happened to us and led us to designing a system to manage our time and our kitchen.

This system has helped to kick processed foods to the curb and we are so excited to share with others how it can easily be done.

Together, we will explore the following:

  • Quick food history: How did we start eating this way and why is it bad for us? C

  • Figuring out your cooking style: Are you someone who likes to cook every day, one or twice a week for a few hours. Or do you prefer to dedicate one whole day to this. We’ll cover the pros and cons of each and how to get the stress out of managing your kitchen.

  • The types of food tasks: There are tasks 3 types of food tasks - weekly, monthly and annual. We’ll cover the tasks we’ve designed and why we plan these the way we have.

  • What you need in your pantry and freezer at all times: We’ve created a list of the ingredients we all need to cook basic food quickly!

  • How we buy food: Every month we invest in buying a few bulk pantry ingredients. We also cover how and from who we buy our meat, veggies and eggs.

  • Quantities We Cook: We’ll cover how much food we prepare when we cook and why we do it this way.

  • Annual Task Overview: What time of the year to prepare seedlings for the garden, can and freeze local produce.

  • Weekly Grocery Shop: How we use Pinterest and our weekly tracker to plan recipes and our prep list to have similar ingredients.

  • Monthly Tracker: This allows us to see what we will make throughout the entire. month.

You will also connect with like-minded individuals, learn actionable steps to create nourishing meals, and take the first step toward a more intentional and sustainable way of eating.
